Actually made me glad Inuyasha was on
This is an example the difference between comedy and tragedy: timing. Without timing, comedy becomes tragedy. It's as if the production staff just looked at everything that came out in the last ten years, came up with every water cooler office joker comment they could for everything, and randomly slapped it into a script from 300. What is astounding is not that some jokers would spend hours giggling around a board room table over this, but that a studio would allocate a budget for it. The acting of some of the characters is actually good, and it was good to see Kevin Sorbo again (is there anyone he doesn't make look small in comparison?) I really can't think of anything else to say. It could actually have been done right, which is the shame of it. This movie is like ice cream and sprinkles on steak. Just ... why?
Oh, and I don't think Inuyasha is really that bad, it has its moments. I like anime, generally, and some is superb, but some just spend away too much time talking and talking and talking. Dragonball and Narutu are that way. In this instance, I was actually glad Inuyasha was on Cartoon Network at the time.
