Bollywood version?

Can anyone confirm the rumours that there is a Bollywood remake of this movie in the works? I certainly agree the Bollywood treatment is what this movie is lacking. I think that a 3.5 hour timeframe would allow time to repeat each joke for the 10 to 15 iterations required to give them the mantra-like presentation they deserve, rather than the 4 or 5 iterations they actually use which fail to do justice to these wonderful witticisms. Plus a Bollywood version would doubtless remove all the references to homosexualism and anal intercourse which so marred and detracted from the quality of the original Greek version. The individual jokes would also benefit from a 5 minute song and dance routine between the body of each joke and its punchline, just to leave the audience hanging on the punchline while they tap their feet. And the jokes would make a lot more sense and be a lot funnier in Hindi, the natural language of comedy among educated people.
