injury to child singer

No posts here yet... Anyway, I don't know if I missed something, but I do not recall hearing that the child singer (the fake one) sustained a serious injury until we actually saw him in the wheelchair. Did I miss something? That's a fairly big detail. Also: as between one kid whose voice is used for the celebrity of another kid, versus a kid who is paralyzed for life, my sympathy is with the dude I the wheelchair. He was arguably as much a victim of the system as the true singer; they were both manipulated by the system. And yet the movie seems to make him out to be the bad guy and the real singer (Memo) to be the good guy. If the paralyzed dude can forgive Memo for paralyzing him, then Memo should reciprocate. Also: Seems a bit odd to sustain that degree of injury from that incident. Kids are fairly resilient. It generally takes a huge trauma to cause that degree of spinal cord injury in a child. But movie is interesting and good.
