The notion that Scott hasn't been in touch with Ron Howard is ridiculous. Scott was on Arrested Development in 2005 which was produced by Imagine and Ron Howard was the narrator.
Also, regarding the autograph signing and Johnny cutting it short. That just didn't happen. I was at that signing. I am the woman in the green shirt who says "he touched me!". I happen to have been in Hollywood that morning to see local DJ Rodney Bingenheimer get his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. that morning there were people in front of the Chinese Theater handing out flyers for the Scott Baio/Erin Moran autograph signing. The flyer also indicated that it was going to be taped for Scott's reality show (this was back in March). I told my sister and she asked me to go to get an autograph for my niece, which I was happy to do because I like Scott okay.
Erin got there on time. Scott was 20 to 30 minutes late. The line was about 50 people long and it went pretty fast. Erin was very gracious. Scott was pretty inhibited. I believe that everyone had gotten through to Scott by the time they taped the Johnny V. part.
Although I just got the invite that morning, I think the girls behind me told me they had seen the event posted on a web site called Seeing Stars. So, I do think it was misleading to show Erin and Scott talking about the signing as if Scott decided on the fly the day before to join her. Also, a member of the production crew told me they had been setting up the shoot in the store since early morning.
And now for some really disconcerting information, Scott was on Live with Kelly and Regis this morning. I think I heard him say something to Kelly like "watch it. You'll like the way the FIRST YEAR ends". Hmmm, so is his girlfriend pregnant and is he thinking he'll be doing another year of this??????

I just watched it for the first time tonight. It's kind of addicting though. I'm the same age as Scott and used to think he was gorgeous! LOL. I also watched the Rock of Love show and that was actually pretty good. I didn't see the episode you're referring to about Clint Howard.

I don't remember hearing that Scott hasn't been in touch with Ron. I do remember him telling Clint that he's been trying to get in one of his brother's movies for a while.
Not that it wasn't said. Just that I don't recall seeing/hearing it said.
