shareIt's a television show. Chances are he knew before taping even began and they used this opportunity to get him his own tv show and help spark his career again. Many celebs do this sort of thing. He hasn't been popular since the 80's I guess and needs money. Shows like this dish out at least a million dollars. I'm sure he could use it.
