Am I the only one who can tell this show is staged? Everything is so contrived, even the relationship. Don't get me wrong, it's worth about 5 minutes of my attention, before I change the channel...but it's so fake...

I am writing this as my girlfriend forces me to watch yet another episode of Next top Model...somebody help me..

It has that Arrested Development real/fake feel to it.

I read an interview with Scott Baio some time back and he mentioned that he wanted to do something similiar with this show, having appeared on Arrested Development for a few episodes.

Why is it so important to you that this show be completely real? Are there rules we should be aware of? Who really cares? It's entertaining as hell!
