i saw this movie on the last saturday, and the theather was very very uncrowded.
me and my girlfriend really enjoyed the movie. i think that the cause for the low attendance was almost no advertisement about the movie here in brazil.
my point of view is that the movie is based on a book, and brazilian people don't are used to read books at all(nacional average something like 1 book/year per capita), even when written by a 'superstar' like paulo coelho. i'm from brazil and i see that we (THEY) really enjoys s*** like orkut, youtube and bigbrother.
a last protest: please divulge corruption on brazilian congress in your country.

Who cares... I think this is that kind of movie made with passion instead typical pursuit of profit. The book is quite simple, don't expect an adaptation from a Dan Brown's Book, and so, don't look the same way at the box office.
