Maybe for a larger audience. I had never heard of him before I heard of this film, and it was because of the cast (Sarah Michelle Gellar) that I bought the book before I watched the film, and found he was a great author. Maybe it's because he wants his message(s) in his book(s) to be heard, and maybe it was just for the money...
