Such a disappointment

I really should have read more about it before I watched it, had no idea it was a sappy, generic love story. I thought the idea of Veronika deciding she wanted to die because she really just didnt feel like the world had enough to offer her was a great concept but then it went in just a cheesy, made for tv direction. SMG's acting was great, the initial idea was great and then it went WAY downhill. From the beginning when they were telling her about her heart condition I thought they are probably lying to her and then she will regret her choice and decide she wants to live. I just kept telling myself it would be such a Lifetime movie way to go and that it couldnt possibly end that stupidly and then it did.
