Just watched it. Wasn't a horrible movie but I can't say I didn't see the "twist" coming.

The Netflix version is like the US dvd, the beautiful score my Murray Gold has been replaced, and they cut 10 minutes! I'd really like to know why they did that. The original version is better, especially for the score (and songs).

What did they cut? I can't say that I was all that interested in the Veronika/Edward stuff, but I wish we'd seen more of Mari and/or Dr Blake. It'd be worth seeking out the version with the extra 10 minutes if that footage dealt with one or both of them.

Can someone please explain why anyone would go to the trouble and expense of making a film, then wait FIVE YEARS to release it in some markets, skip others entirely, and screw with it in the meantime for some reason?

I seriously don't get it. Release, succeed or fail, move on to the next thing.

I just saw it too, and that did announce itself early on. But, despite the predictable script, I got so attached to the characters, by the time it was nearing the end, I was feeling a bit anxious for her! What if I'd been wrong?!?

Very nice work by all the cast, here. I felt they greatly elevated a fairly pedestrian story, and made of it something better than it really had any right to be.
