I enjoyed this movie just as much, actually more, than the original. Watching both back to back it seems like the original was all over the place, and didnt have a concise, steady story unlike the remake. Both films are great in what they accomplish as a story though. I think the remake should ACTUALLY be watched and not judged as "oh another remake it is bad" because that is not true.

I agree. The original is good but I also thought this newer version is really good as well. I agree with another poster on another forum that said something like good remakes enhance the original and bad remakes are forgotten/ignored. Very true.

shareSorry the remake was horrible. It was a cheap imitation of the original one. The story was easy to follow in the original, and using half new music and half old with different singers did not work at all.
