Or any other of the films the MCU has already shot and has imminent release dates for?
The MCU's obsession with content, CONTENT, *CONTENTTTTT*!!!! is starting to hurt. Maybe they need to slow the fuck down. This is what happens when companies get greedy, and don't take the time to do the requisite background checks on their actors (or ensure their special effects are up to scratch).
Disney, don't you know that greed/capitalism and 'woke' AREN'T compatible?
After "Quantumania," they're committed to Majors, though I could see them scaling back his appearances and changing focus.
Feige and the Russos straight out stated that Thanos was the protagonist of "Infinity War," but it doesn't have to be that way with Kang Dynasty, especially this far out
In fairness, though, it's looking like Majors isn't so much the aggressor as the victim. Could be his PR people or lawyers' doing, but his "victim" is looking more Amber-Heard by the day
I can't speak to Majors himself - guilty or innocent - because I haven't really been following the case at all. However, in terms of the movies, they can always recast. Maybe they could use Terrence Howard, for instance.
I just said Howard because he was replaced as War Machine by Don Cheadle - an existing example of Marvel just straight-up replacing an actor with no in-universe explanation necessary.
Looked up who Zawe Ashton is playing as the villain and it sounds like some nobody throwaway character. At least Jude Law's character Yon-Rogg was a recurring threat to Danvers in the comics. Imagine if they used the Brood or Moonstone as villains for a CM movie. Like, wtf are they doing?
