Yeah, I've seen all the Halloween films in the past 14 months except for the second Rob Zombie film. This is the worst of the lot. People who think it isn't need to be forced to sit through all the other 12 films as their memories are clearly lying to them.
This film is like some goofball dickwad decided that Halloween needed a hybrid version of Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (1985) and Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday (1993) as it's big finale.
It's almost like he shit the bed and purposely made a bad film so it would be divisive because he was panicking from meeting the expectations. That's the best I can come up with. A purposely done shitfest. Throwing himself into the fire because he feared fan backlash would be coming his way anyway he made the film. Like a big fuck you to all the fans. Directorial suicide in fear of homicide.
This film was supposed to be the big finale. Jamie Lee Curtis' final time playing Laurie Strode and this is what they served up. It's actually criminal what they've done. Hope DGG never makes another film again, if he does this shit to The Exorcist I'll be fucking fuming. It's probably too late to kick him of the first of that planned trilogy, we can only hope it flops and this idiot gets blacklisted and booted out of Hollywood.
