The stupidity of these films is astounding....
It was ok the first few but Jesus, just throw the son of a bitch into a wood chippper, cremate the remains and scatter the ashes down a sewer.
End of series.

The original 6 films made sense since they revealed that there was a supernatural force powering Michael and keeping him alive, but it definitely doesn’t make sense how he could survive so much in the new series which eliminates the supernatural elements.
shareDid they eliminate the supernatural element? Or are they just not drawing attention towards it?
shareIt seems the new ones have made Michael just a “crazy person” and not a force of pure evil. They also seem to have invalidated Loomis’ theories about Michael as well with that doctor who continues Loomis’ research with Michael being a crackpot. Also Laurie not being Michael’s sister removes the element of the “kill every member of his family” curse.
shareI'm personally okay with Laurie being more "the one who got away" as opposed to his sister, but to each their own.
I only watched Halloween (2018) once shortly after it came out, but I intend to watch it again before seeing Halloween Kills. Maybe my opinion will differ on a re-watch.
I don't think they removed the supernatural element. It was shown that shooting him does not work, and I guess burning him is the only way to kill him. They advertised it like they were dropping the supernatural element but in the film they just returned to it at the end. Just not the same one as parts 5-7 had.
shareAgreed.
shareI love the Halloween series(specifically the first two) but I’m shocked that they are still making sequels or reboots .. what’s even worse is they haven’t even tried to add much in the way of new ideas. Halloween 2018 and Kills have brought nothing new to the table aside frr ehh on turning Michael into Jason voorhees
