Am I the only one who thinks the movie would be just as good if it was filmed over a few months with different actors?

If I didn't know it was filmed over twelve years, I wouldn't have realised. Ellar Coltrane's and Lorelei Linklater's physical appearances drastically changed throughout the movie. I would've thought they had trouble finding actors who looked similar.

It's just a good script. It annoys me when people ignore the script, and only think about the twelve year format. That includes people who dismiss the movie as just a gimmick, and people who only like the movie due to the twelve year format.

That being said, it probably wouldn't have received any Oscar nominations if it was filmed over a few months.
