Is Alice Braga playing The Queen of the South? Kate del Castillo´s role?

I don´t watch the series and she´s listed as Teresa Mendoza, not top billed and since I never watched that show I´m not sure who´s the lead character/actress for this movie but sure Alice Braga is the most famous of the cast.

Yes she is. She's playing Kate Del Castillo's role in La Reina Del Sur. It translates to Queen ofthe South. You should really watch La Reina Del Sur it really is one of the best shows I've seen. Kate Del Castillo was the best as Teresa Mendoza.
