What are they doing to Camila's character? Its frustrating!!

Camila caught Cesar and let him go knowing fully well that he might spill yet several episodes from that she is not able to put together that Epifano might be dealing with her because he has learnt that she's got Theresa and keeping her from him.. I mean even if she's become suddenly dense, James who was there and tried to warn her against letting Cesar go should be able to put it together. All the characters have magically forgotten that this event ever occurred.

Cesar also, should not be so comfortable back in Mexico; there should have been scenes by now where he voices some concern to his boss that Camila might suspect that he has ratted her out.. but No.

It's so frustrating when writers pull this kind of stunt obviously because they are trying to force a certain outcome or plot direction but fail to see how horribly weird they make things in the process. It makes the show less watchable.

The current scenario will work perfectly well if Cesar had not been caught by Camila's team.
