Pick up the pace!

I never watched the original version, so I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to drag along, but I feel like not enough is happening quick enough. Every episode is filler.

Go get the journal, sell it to Camilla to pay for your papers and setting up a new life, and then take her over. I guess. Or whatever. I'd go get myself a college education, but since Teresa is supposed to become Queen, then okay...

I'm not feeling compelled enough to continue to season 2 :(

I've just finished watching episode 5 and I still have a few issues with the show.

First of all let me start off by the actors in the show and their characters:

Teresa - I just don't like her character, it annoys the hell out of me. It could be the actress or possibly both. It just seems in every situation she ends up in is over the top and she acts so unnatural to someone in that position. I'm not saying I'm an expert on what she does but I can tell when something is out of place because of poor writing or just bad acting. She isn't selling it to me at all so I can't believe anything she does(or rather her character). The flashes with her future self just pisses me off at this point, such a wasted potential of something that could be amazing and somewhat unique.

Brenda - If you have no idea what a filler is, she is literally the definition of it. Her "plot" or whatever is complete garbage and a waste of show. It's so uninteresting and I still have no clue why the Teresa even gives a crap. I'm sure there was something that happened in episode 1 that I can't even remember. However that kinda points out how bad it really is - since I can't even remember it. Just like Teresa her character and actions are so silly and just annoys me.

Camila - Amazing. She is *the* reason I even continue to watch the show. The cartel things that are going on I find very interesting. There isn't much more to say really, I very much enjoy that part of the show. The same applies to her husband, Epifanio.

Just like I said above here with Camila, the cartel plot is quite good and it's by far the strongest part of this show. However, everything else is just mediocre or even plain bad.

The whole Brenda storyline is confusing, because in La Reuna del Sur, Brenda is killed asking with her kids and Chino in ep. 1.

I could not agree with you more!

I think the pace is fine. I simply think it's just a slow buildup as to what is to come.
