Why are all the women plain at best?

I see lots of attractive Latino women on Univision so why can't they find a hottie for this show? The lead has a decent body if a bit thin but an average face. Worse she always looks constipated. The kingpin women and the fat friend are ugly. It's not like any of them are amazing actresses so why not hire a babe?

I agree. I don't mean to be unkind, but in some shots, Camilla actually looks like the wicked witch -- with a hooked nose and a serious frown. She is not attractive at all.

I like the lead actress (who plays Tereasa) however. I started reading the book, and 'Tereasa' is not supposed to be pretty at first, although she cleans up well in the end.

I, for one, like the tone of the show, where brains and smarts trump superficial beauty.

What should the women look like? I recall a movie years ago called Starship troopers, many called it 90210 in space. EVERYBODY and I mean everybody looked like a model and had perfect teeth. It made the movie completely unbelievable as terrible as the acting was. The same with the 3 other straight to DVD movies after it that were even more worse.

I feel that way it's more realistic...

As female drug runners and smugglers, they should blend in among other people. Not have men staring at them until they are out of sight. In fact I don't like the car Teresa drives for them. Its a junker with a door and fender of a different color from a junkyard.

It would stand out on surveillance cameras and is the sort of car police would stop. They like to write tickets and ransack cars driven by poor people hoping to meet ticket quotas or keep them from cutting through Highland and University Park, Those are rich independent cities surrounded by Dallas with their own police forces. She should drive a monotonous looking 5 year old Civic without body damage.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

How is it "obviously stolen"?

What kind of thief would steal a beater like that?

Yes this bothers me too. They're not making any effort to make their runners look as discrete as possible.

Why do the women have to be "hotties"? What does it bring to the story? What about the men? Does Epifanio look attractive to you? Does it matter?

Sorry to break it to you, but the aim of this show is not to give you a boner.

Used cars of popular makes are often stolen for the parts, then the car is crushed. They would have to be several years old. Parts begin wearing out after the warranty lapses and you have to pay for it yourself.

Thieves used to steal wings, then it was rims, then it was catalytic converters for platinum beads in them, then airbags, and now they steal tailgates. They have security tapes where men pull up and get the tailgate off and loaded in their truck within minutes out of your driveway. They caught two men the other day with five newly stolen tailgates in their pickup.

Cool story bro lol

None are "plain" in my opinion. Teresa is barely made-up and usually in a frantic state. Not a beauty treatment. Good bones, nice, fit, figure. Camilla is very sexy, if not classically attractive. Her voice alone!

Hmmm, maybe because in real life, most people are average looking people.
