Automated email warning of upcoming episode.

Before you get your jammies in a bunch, NO I have no news of a service that notifies people of upcoming episodes.

What I'm writing about is: Does anyone know if there is a service that automatically notifies members of upcoming episodes?

By some miracle I've caught the last two episodes. I don't expect to be so lucky when the next (and apparently final) episode aires.

Much thanks to anyone who does know.

You can rent all the Jesse Stone movies from your local video store. They're all out on DVD.

See if you can figure out which network these run on. I've seen them all but I just don't remember, and chances are they'll all be syndicated to various networks at some point. If you can sort out the right network you can go to their official web site and see if there is a "Notify Me" feature where you can select a show and give them your e-mail address. That's how PBS does it.

They do seem to come out on DVD fairly quickly but I like them enough to want to see any new ones as soon as they air. Its nice to see Tom Selleck in something that suits him so well - I think its his best work since "Magnum: PI". Although he did a great job as Eisenhower in that other tv movie a few years back too.

THE NEW JESSE STONE MOVIES ARE ALWAYS ON CBS.....THE RERUNS ARE USUALLY ON THE HALLMARK CHANNEL.....ACCORDING TO A RECENT RADIO INTERVIEW WITH TOM SELLECK,HE STATED THE NEW ONE"THIN ICE" WAS TO BE ON IN MAY...BUT, I WAS JUST ON THE ROBERT PARKER WEB SITE AND IT SAID "THIN ICE" WILL BE ON LATER THIS YEAR....BUMMER....I LOVE JESSE STONE...I WAS HOPING VIOLA DAVIS WOULD BE IN THIS NEW ONE,BUT HAVE NOT SEEN HER NAME LISTED....LOVE TOM SELLECK AND SURE DO MISS LAS VEGAS.....

To the person who said Jesse Stone airs on CBS: I only get it on The Hallmark Channel. Of course, maybe they are second runs.

Please tell me you are wrong about the "apparently final" Jessee Stone series. Is there a way we can get something going to Tom Selleck, or CBS to "prod" them to keep the made for TV movies going. My wife and I would like to see 2 a year, but (Gulp!) would settle for one.

AGAIN, ACCORDING TO TOM SELLECK RADIO INTERVIEW, JESSE STONE:THIN ICE, #5 OF ROBERT PARKER'S JESSE STONE SERIES,WILL BE ON LATER THIS YEAR.....THEN #6 OF THE JESSE STONE SERIES IS BEING WRITTEN....DON'T KNOW THE NAME OF IT YET...SELLECK SAYS HE WOULD LIKE TO DO ABOUT 40 OF THESE MOVIES...THAT'S FINE WITH ME...LOVE THEM ALL....

Does anyone know why 3 of the Jesse Stone Books previously written were never made into movies? The second in the series "Trouble in Paradise" was written in 1998 and "High Profile" was written in 2007 and "Stranger in Paradise" was written in 2008. None of these, that I can find, were made into movies. And then, all of a sudden, they make a movie that isn't even based on one of the books. Doesn't make any sense to me. Does anyone have any thoughts or information on this series of events. I always thought it strange that CBS chose to air the 4th in the series of books first and then the 1st. But then they just skipped the second one and the last two?

Sign up for Google news alerts with the name jesse stone. Any time the name is mentioned in the news, for upcoming shows and air dates, you should be notified.

No one can ever accuse CBS (or any network) of doing what's really smart. There are two coming Stone movies that are not based on an actual Parker novel. Thin Ice is in the can, has been for quite awhile. Selleck is in production on anther, now.
In an interview... as another writer has said... Selleck says he would do bunches of these Stone movies. He evidently likes the character very much. Good news for us. So everyone should write CBS and ask them to get off the pot and air at least two a year.

Thanks for the info, but do us a favor and hit the caps lock key, all caps is considered shouting in cyberspace.

I too would love to see as many of these movies as they'll make. They are really well done. He's perfect for this kind of role, it completely matches his personality.

I didn't see "Suitcase" (Kohl Sudduth) listed as one of the people in this episode. I love him and hope he's in this newest version. It's also a bummer to see Molly (Viola Davis) relegated in the last film to one phone call from Jesse. Is she just too busy to be in this, or has she gotten too expensive?
