Maybe this is spoiler territory since I haven't seen/read Sea Change, but why isn't Viola Davis (playing Molly Crane) in this? Or has her name just not been added yet?

She was written out as being on maternity leave in "Sea Change," where she made one small appearance. I assumed she was unavailable for a larger role because, at the time, she was working on the series "Traveler."

shareYeah, I liked her too. She's not listed as being in Thin Ice either...I wish she'd come back and boot Kathy Baker off. Kathy Baker just makes my skin crawl for some reason
shareViola's film career has taken off, somewhat. Kathy Baker is a seasoned performer, more likely to be available---long-term.
I like Baker, but I'd prefer they'd re-cast the role, like in soaps, or in a play.
