The other films are all available on DVD. I still haven't picked up Stone Cold for some reason, which is weird because I like it best, but I've got all of the others. I see them at my local grocer on the $9.99 rack pretty frequently.
If you've got a video store or Netflix membership, you should be able to find the others. They're better without commercials anyway. I was complaining to my wife last night that the commercials were nearly as long as the movie.
As for the OP, I agree, except with the judgement about the ending. I'd say it was just about right. We don't need to know all of the answers. Will the kidnapper be arrested? Will the true mother want revenge or will closure be enough? Will Jesse leave Paradise? Hope not, but there's the possibility.
It's clear that Jesse doesn't see any possibility of continuing as a cop if they fire him, but it's good to see them using the continuity and showing the consequences of the previous stories. Jesse may or may not have been forced into using his gun to solve problems, but when you're a member of the town council of a tourist town, a trigger-happy Chief is a potential liability.
Paradise got more than they bargained for when they got Jesse Stone, and it remains to be seen whether they think it was a good bargain or not. It was made pretty clear that the feelings on the council were not unanimous, so a return to Paradise is not out of the question, with Jesse on some kind of probation. If they did that, I'd just want to make sure that isn't basically a repeat of this movie.
