Rare tonal inconsistency

(spoiler)I have very little idea about movie review.But after watching thor love and thunder,the problems of the movies were very clear to me.First of all,a menacing villain has kidnapped children.the protagonist is planning to rescue the children.from the start of the planning to go to fight with gore,there is unnecessary comedy,which doesn't go with the plot of the movie at all.Even there is comedic dialogue between an afraid kid and thor.Reunion of thor and jane was supposed to be emotional and romantic.Jane was going through stage 4 cancer.Excessive comedy doesn't go with these situations at all.Before revealation of cancer to thor,there was no way to understand that thor and jane has been reunited after 8 years.I think this kind of tonal inconsistency of the movie was extreme foolishness and stupidity of the director.I have never seen such tonal inconsistency in any movie .In many movies,presence of a good villain elevates the quality of the movie.But i think the character of gorr was not well developed.janes cancer, reunion of jane and thor,gorr the god butcher .... overall the movie seemed to me a huge mess.
Though thor ragnarok also had a lot of comedy, the comedic elements werent completely inconsistent with the movie.
