I miss the real Anne!

So I just read the plot summary for this movie, and I began to cry. This absolutely breaks my heart! This is not Anne of Green Gables! Sticking the characters into a random storyline does not work!
This isn't some random series-Anne was a huge part of my (and I'm sure many other's) childhood. I wish we could just start over, because this is NOT how its supposed to be.

I completely agree. Anne was so special to me when I was little and it breaks my heart to see this too. I was so confused watching the trailer I just don't understand. And how could they do it without Megan Follows she was Anne. She was perfect for the role this new lady just doesn't do it for me. But I will probably see the movie just to see how it turns out, but I'm nearly positive I will hate it.
