I just couldn't grasp her as Anne. Honestly, she just didn't suit the part at all.

I like Barbara Hersey, but she was an aweful Anne. I was very disappointed with this movie in general.

I got the feeling that BH never even watched the first Anne movies.
She failed at Anne.
No spirit. No imagination. Nothing.

i thought i give it a chance but i agree, barbara hershey played more like a red headed zombie, just motioning her way through, bet she got big bucks to do it though and the red hair doesn't suit her.
