A good series

I bought this on DVD from yesasia.com It is a good a series but it can be difficult to watch because there are no English subtitles. However, if you are a fan of Bruce Lee the story tells itself pretty well without the Mandarin language really being an issue. There are 50 episodes in all. So far I have viewed about 24. Supposedly this thing is getting an American release sometime next year. I would imagine that it has been dubbed and subtitled in English since there are so many American and British actors and actresses who appear in the show. This is very culturally diverse for a Chinese Television series. One of the things that struck me most about the series is how accurately Danny Chan captures Bruce Lee's mannerisms and physical appearance. The Legend of Bruce Lee is literally like watching Lee's life unfold onscreen with great depth and realism. Honestly I do not think there has ever been a better on screen portrayal of Bruce Lee. This series does not sugar coat anything about him either. Danny Chan provides us with the insecure bullying self conscience Bruce as well as the loving passionate martial artist. I highly recommend this show to anybody who is a fan of Bruce Lee.
