Is this supposed to be fact based?
Saw the preview and a lot of it looked dramatized. Is that supposed to be the case?

I would say that it's 90% fiction. The fight scenes are very unrealistic too. Bruce would be so mad about this. He hated all the fantasy wire work stuff. He really wanted to show martial arts in a more realisic way. He never made those screams too in real life fighting. They were always dubbed on afterwards for dramatic effect.

And actually the battle cries in Bruce's films were his own recordings, which is what the screams are referring to.

The Lee character will not be fighting on wires, etc. He will be using the JKD concepts Bruce Lee actually taught and fought with.
ENTERTAIMENT
That being said, Bruce Lee had many real life confrontations. The movie, obviously, exaggerates them for entertainment purposes.
