After Watching All Three...

After watching all three series I have to say that the first is the best. Just based off of robot on robot violence, this one has the most hands down.

I'm at a complete loss as to how anyone can say ROTF is the best or even any good. With a bigger budget and some experience getting the cgi integrated into a live action setting ROTF actually had less.

Returning characters Ironhide did nothing, Ratchet... was Ratchet even in this!? Sideswipe had a short scene in the beginning and was never heard from again, Arcee I heard was suppose to be in this, just not sure what effect her character had within the story.

The Chevrolet Trax & Beat Autobots although look like they were designed to hold the attention of toddlers occupied the majority of cgi character time. To show you just how much refusal went into keeping Transformers in Transformers, our Chevrolet Trax & Beat never even had a transformation scene, not one!

Not to mention ROTF had the biggest blunder of all the series. Meg's never answered to anyone, EVER! Meg's was far to vain, to maniacal, to ruthless, the ultimate control freak!

I'm a huge TF fan going all the way to the G1 84 series & was a big Bay action director fan. With each & every TF movie that came out I lost more & more respect for the guy. Here we have a movie that's to be based on battling giant shape shifting alien robots. Maybe it's just me but I'm thinking action adventure, maybe even drama. What I end up with is dog humping, annoying room-mate, old man in a thong, mom on drugs, pot headed thug twins it was all cringe worthy.

I understood right from the vary start due to budget, money, complexity... I wasn't gonna get 80% - 90% TF screen time but can someone please explain to me just what crying then high mom on campus who can't recognizes laced brownies even after told has to do with giant shape shifting alien robots?

The designs of the characters also furthered the separation of Transformers from the Transformers experience. Wasn't crazy about the bodies but the heads & faces of guys like Wheelie, the kitchen incident scene, the Twins and the generic humanoid bad guy robots still leaves me waiting to see a live action movie based on giant shape shifting alien robots.

DOTM had flaws as well but does feel like their was more robot on robot violence in the movie. Sideswipe, Ironhide & Dino taking out those three non-TF looking machines, Optimus & Sentinel, Wreckers & Shockwave, Bumblebee & Soundwave. What brings down DOTM so many pegs is the scene after losing what should have been a main character/betrayal then immediately turning the show over to the comedy relief/useless mom was just INEXCUSABLE!
