Why do we 8 of them, when they never went past 52 episodes or 3 seasons. it like the Power Rangers all over agian?

First off, Transformers shows are essentially 30 minute long commercials to sell toys. Thus, New shows come out to promote the current toy line.
Second, The original G1 series was 98 episodes long plus a feature length movie - not counting the 107 additional G1 episodes in Japan (including Scramble City, Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory and Zone).
