Revenge...enjoyable but a tad under par...

..Not by leaps and bounds like some make it out to be, but while the action was fierce and the humor was abundant(which I enjoy), It just lacked a good story from the main character's point of view. He was going to college and trying to overcome his fear of saying "i love you" and being a "normal kid" but because there was so much going on, it just kinda falls by the waistside for me.

I liked the action set pieces, felt Bay's direction was still very good, definatley not any fault on his part on that front, I still loved the cast and I really enjoy all of Turturo's scenes alot, but overall, its kinda just there. I think the egyptian setting wasnt all too exciting but it did make for some amazing visuals.

SO in the end, I gave it an 8 out of 10, still a treat to see massive robots duking it out and the Big Screen Edition I have really showcased what IMAX is capable of on bluray...simply stunning!!! But it defianltey doesnt measure up to the first film but I liked the fact that it didnt have that "midddle film" feelign that you get alot with trilogies. (know what I mean?) Anyways, its on to Transformers 3, in 3d tongiht! Woohoo!! Im excited, only saw it once and I really liked it from what I rememebr. ANyone agree with my assessment with Fallen?

And where is the Batman? He's at home...washing his tights!!

Pretty much, sure...except I'd add that it was basically the same movie as the first "Sam, take this Cybertronian artifact, now RUN!!!" It was really just going there again and taking everything up a couple notches. It's like the first movie remade on even MORE steroids, lol. Too bad it was kinda stymied by the writer's strike and Sam's story wasn't better fleshed-out, but ho-hum.

Still an awesome movie!
