Fools who say this movie was 'Awesome'.

Yeah I live in the UK and some kids actually LIKE this movie, yes, like it.

In my class, one guy was telling me what films he owns on DVD because he's always shopping for DVDs online.

So he told me about all the "awesome" films he has. Godfather.etc, he ran down the list and mentioned "all 3 Transformers films". I ofcourse said to him then "All three of them ? Sure, the second one sucked ass."

This started a big conversation with me, and him disagreeing and (you're not going to believe this) other guys in the class saying that it was good. They were like "Oh my God Harry, ofcourse it's good !"

I put this down to the fact they know nothing about Transformers lore and the original series, and indeed, have a very narrow attention span to really appreciate what a good movie is.

I mean, welcome to the kids of our modern-world ! And BTW, this guy who thinks it's awesome was saying it's good because of Optimus kicking the bad guys asses, okay, apart from that the movie was a mess. The jokes were aweful, I even quoted someon on this website saying "The holocaust was funnier than most of the jokes in that film". The dogs humping, the racist autobots who seem to get more screen time than any other character in this crappy film, and the rubbish action.

So anyway, that's the introduction part over, here's the point, here's the part where I prove that TF2 is not amazing and that it sucked ass.

"Look at Dark of the Moon, look how much action (awesome action, unlike TF2) it has, how much screen time the Transformers get, how much better story it has, and how funny and whitty the humour is." THAT, is a good Michael Bay transformers film. Revenge of the Fallen ? It's a piece of s123. And there you have it !

I'd say this is certainly a film that deserves "AWESOME," at the least.

Not surprised at all that you were outnumbered while going on your nerdrage haterant about it, don't be fooled by the vocal minority who spew venom about this movie online...I saw this movie COUNTLESS times in theaters and people were practically ROLLING in the aisles at every joke and CHEERING for the badass action.

Overall, this movie was a HELL of a crowdpleaser.

And, btw, the central plot ideas of The Matrix and Sam being imbued with the AllSpark (back when it was the Creation Matrix) were lifted STRAIGHT from Transformers lore and the original series, the Marvel Comics run.

And that's just for starters.

Ofcourse it is, I know that.

The movie is still a mess and not as good as it could, and should have been.

And even WOULD have been, that's right, the film WAS going to be better, have more focus on the autobot characters and several more Cybertronian characters which had to be written out due to the writers strike during production. And the way Optimus kills the Fallen would have been way more awesome aswell, instead of just punching his spark out like the Fallen was a piece of dirt (which wasn't right for the movie because he is the titular villain after all) Optimus would have fought a more climactic battle in which the Fallen is defeated when Optimus launches him into the vortex he has created.

Also, the jokes were aweful. A farting transformer, a leg-humping transformer, two black-guy stereotypical transformer characters, transformer-testicles and dogs humping . If you call that humour, you need help.

The humour in the third film was spot-on, I loved it, but I cannot understand why anyone would find the humour in TF2 funny, it was cheap and disgusting . Even the people who worked on it, Shia and Bay, admitted they was unhappy with it. Quite rightly.

What dissapointed me the most with TF2 was the action. Awesome ? No, Optimus stabbing his fore-arm blad into Bonecrushers face in Transformers 1 and Megatron getting beheaded with Optimus's axe in Transformers 3 is awesome. Optimus prying Grindor's head apart in TF2, or Bumblebee defeating Rampage by snapping his arms in TF2, Jetfire axing Mixmaster, or Mudflap busting his way out of Devastator's jaw (how the F123 did he even survive that ?!) or even Megatron getting a cheapshot on Powered-up Optimus is not awesome. The only good action in TF2 was the forest fight and the scene were Ravage intercepts the base. Other than that, the action was complete crap, barely up to the standard of kid's stuff.

Anyway, I don't mind people liking what I don't like (well, come to think of it I do, but I don't make a fuss of it unless it's this piece of *beep* but when it comes to this piece of *beep* you bet your ass I get mad. People saying TF2 is amazing, as in "amazingly awesome" and not "amazingly crap" really grinds my gears because I'm one of the reality-livers who was dissapointed and appalled by it. And yes, I've watched it more than once and still hate it.

It's awseome if you watch it and do not think or question anythimg about it. Otherwise, you'll end up hating it.

Youre english and you and your friends use terms like "sucks ass" and you call films "movies". Youre either a massive liar or youre desperately trying to sound cool by using american phrases,which by the way is never a good idea.

American shmerican, I use phrases that sound right to me, one must be comfortable with their dialect if one hopes to express one's self. And by the way, I'm not a massive liar I only weigh...um, I'll get back to you on that one

What I loved most about this film was the fact that Michael Bay Apologised for making it.

Seriously under rated.
Just like Catwoman, I am trying to figure out WHAT was wrong with it.
+ Awesome action.
+ Comprehensible story.
+ Good pacing.
+ Sam's mom is hilarious.
+ Jet fire is awesome.
+ Forest battle.
- Arcee and Side Swipe did not get enough screen time and dialogue... that's it.
