My honest opinion

: It might be that I am closer to my inner child than others or maybe I just have peculiar taste but I find simple pleasure in this beautiful bluray. I am still trying to understand all the 1/10. Unless you expect a Kubrick quality movie, I think its unfair to the effort put in by all who contributed to this flick.
Lets break it down: The scenes in the first hour are highly likeable and fresh (Sam goes to college, some *beep* happen in Shangai...). The second hour starts with a spectacular scene of Optimus Prime fighting in a forest. Then the Decepticons attack an aircraft carrier and a city. The CGI in this scene might be discussable but it was OK. This is followed by some E.T propaganda stuff that fits the world we live in these days very well. The Egypt pyramid part is a good example and it reminded me of an actual documentary I watched. Finally, the last 30mins was very cool with the war around the pyramid and the giant robot.
So why all the hate?
Too much crazy action ? Nah, it was mostly a blast.
Bad jokes? I would say "light jokes". Bad acting? Not really, except maybe Megan Fox who as 2 different facial expression( open-mouth and half-closed-mouth). Ramon Rodriguez was very good and I liked his relationship with Turturo.
Bad FX? Euh, excellent effects. every single bot was greatly done. Bad plot? It's relative, but not bad in the least.
Anyways, I liked it a lot man.
