Greg Kinnear: Underdog Actor in Underdog Film

What a great actor. He is truly one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood. And it's pretty remarkable how he's been able to transition from snarky talk-show host to big-screen leading man over the last decade. He gives one of his best performances in Flash of Genius. He is at his best in the lighter moments with his family, where he shows his charm and charisma. While the movie was slightly boring and predictable, Kinnear's performance makes it worthwhile.

I agree that Greg's performance was stellar. He's incredible. However, I found the movie neither boring nor predictable.

He was great, I do think it's kind of unfair though to call a true story predictable.

I agree. I've become a big Kinnear fan since his role in Mystery Men. Although, it is unfortunate he has also become a typecast for underdog characters.
