More of an adventure/coming of age flick then comedy.

I went into this expecting it being poorly marketed as a comedy while it was more so a story involving three men at different points in their lives struggling to co-exists with their passion and their responsibilities. I couldn't believe how many supporting actors this one featured. Some of the location shots were beautiful sights to see. While the film wasn't really a laugh riot it was more of a sweet-hearted adventure movie. This type of movie isn't really made to make big bucks nor is it easy to advertise. I generally liked it. Your thoughts?

I agree--I think this movie gets bad word because people go into it expecting big laughs. Now, it's one thing if it's a comedy and isn't funny--but this isn't a comedy and people get mad because it isn't funny. obviously, that's based on its casting. But I think if people were to go in knowing it's a light-hearted drama they will be happy.

Just think--it's the same director of "Devil Wears Prada" and "Marley & Me." It's that same kind of thing.

Exactly! This was more a low key feel-good dramedy. The casting lead people to expect big laughs and the PG rating also gave this movie a strange appearance. This one will get some more attention on HBO and such I feel.
