I watched this on a plane and missed several lines of dialogue due to muffled sound. Could someone please explain what happened with Rosamund Pike's character. Did she ask the contractor for sperm to turkey baster herself? (sorry to use that as a verb!)
shareNo, she never cheated on her husband. It was built to seem like she would, but the contractor was coming over because he invited her to see a football game with his family. She did tell Owen Wilson though that she wanted a divorce, because she was tired of being second to his record, and feared she would still be second even if she was having his baby.
