Who was the narrator in the theatrical version? On the DVD I just noticed that the theatrical and extended cut versions have different narrators. Jack Black is the narrator in one version, while John Cleese is the narrator in the other. And, the narration dialogue differs.

Personally, I prefer the Cleese version, but thought it was interesting that two different versions were used.

jack black should only be allowed to narrate his home movies.

not sure which version i saw, but john cleese narrated the brief history on birding and jack black provided the rest of the narrations.
