I thought this was gonna bad or okay, but its really good, its just not for people just after laughs and people who think The Avengers and The Hangover are the best all time films. This is something more for people who actually know about films, although the critics got this wrong, but what do they know? Its well made, great characters, good moral point, great ending, its not so typical, moving. I have to wonder what critics hated about this, only on a comedy level can you really complain, and maybe some of the writing. Realistically you can't really give this anything lower than a 7.

I agree that it deserves at least a 7 overall. It's a good story and nice scenery. I watched it on HBO over and over.

I have it an 8. I really enjoyed it. There wasn't any clear cut bad guy. No one cheated. It was an enjoyable story about 3 guys on their own journey for their own approval. And I think there's something to be said for being proud of your passion, even if it's something like birding, that most people wouldn't really give a damn about. Do what you love and learn about yourself in the process.
It was refreshing to me.

I just watched this for the second time. I really liked it. I was looking for Jim parsons in a part. it happen to come across this movie again. It really was a very light hearted comedy that was kind of cute. Not to be taken too seriously but it got me interested in looking up a couple of the birds that they had mentioned.
