The major thing that bothers me about this movie

The major thing that bothers me about this movie is the scene when Cecilia is running down the hallway and the invisible man is knocking out the cops one by one. There is a policeman who falls NEXT to her with a gun and she does not take it!
The invisible man hits the cops one by one but she doesn't grab the damn gun and shoot him! Only after the cops are on the ground, she grabs the gun!

I'm actually not even sure I noticed that abt the gun at the time; the thing that bothered me the most was that when she ran out of the hospital waving a gun, something clearly being amiss, why did it take FOREVER for anyone to run out after her??? They were sitting right there by the door.
