The "Safe Hold" sign...

Most everyone here seems convinced that it said San Francisco but I am pretty sure it said "Safeco Field" which was an important piece of the story in the Genesis Of Shannara series... pretty sure the bridge was supposed to be the bridge that crosses the Columbia River that got blown up in The Gypsy Morph which would have made both things make a lot more geographical sense. The witches also called Eretreia[sic] one of the Armageddon Children in the same episode furthering my thinking that they were borrowing heavily from the Genesis books for that episode.

The third letter on the sign is definitely an N. So, no.
the F was capital. So, no.
And the O was definitely capital. So, no.

And Seattle doesn't have a bridge like that.

Only if you believe it was a sign that said, on two separate lines, with this nonsensical choice of capitalization-

And the map that they found to lead them at the prom scene was clearly labeled as a map of San Francisco.

Plus they show a BART station. I would say it was Bay Area for sure.

It said San Francisco Oakland, and that was the Bay Bridge that connects the two sides of the bay. They went into a BART tunnel. Also, they showed the map of San Francisco which she discovered in Utopia.

The bigger question is how the heck they make it all the way from Seattle to San Francisco in short time or were they in the east bay all along.

In the show background details.

In the books the setting is the west coast of North America near Willamette Valley in Oregon and Safeco Field in Seattle. All maps of Shannara show it being in a river valley surrounded by mountains.
