Is Poppy Drayton out?

I've only watched 3 episodes but someone told me that Amberle is not in season 2. Please tell me this is not true! I like her so much! And I cannot stand Eretria, ugh.

I don't think we really know yet. I won't spoil Season 1 for you, but Season 2 is questionable for her.

Not necessarily. While Amberle no longer physically exists they could turn the Ellcrys into a mentor character with Amberle's ghost being how she talks with people.

Maybe Amberle will open the tree and let someone come in to see her?

They can always work it so she remains a tree but we see the actress interacting with other characters.

Yeah. Like the Obi Wan Kenobi thing in Star Wars, but hopefully without the beard.

If she is out the show it is likely to tank in season 2 ,the three way friendship /romance between the lead characters was the best thing the show had going for it.
Probably a good thing for Poppy Drayton though ,gives her options to take on more lucrative work.

It's a fantasy series, so anything is possible...especially since they are not following the books anymore. The next book takes place during the next generation.

Also, I dont see any new projects listed in her imdb page.

Check out the cast list.
She is only listed as cast during 2016 not 2016-2017 cast Like the five or so at the top of the list...that answered the question for me.

Possible, but if they want a surprise, they may not put her name up.

They don't even have her listed as a star on the show anymore . If she comes back it will be something small I think. Maybe when/if the Ellcrys communicates?

Even though season two is following the same characters, I would love to see the show move onto the other generations.
