I hope Angelica's life got better.
Well now that its over I hope Angelica's luck changed for the better. It was nice at the end seeing Angelica playing in the garden with her daughter. It was also nice to see her in a lovely dress and looking healthy and pretty. I can imagine that she would have enjoyed the 1660s which marked a move away from the austere theocracy imposed by Cromwell in the 1650s. I hope that maybe Charles II might remember this old servant of his mother's and try to ensure that Angelica lives the rest of her days comfortably, in fact I'm sure a savvy woman like her would have caught the eye of the woman loving king. I don't think she ever would have married again but in the liberal 1660s I'm sure she will have enjoyed the company of men.
