out of nowhere Sexby is trying to rape his wife and 2 minutes later has an iron hand.
Cut, cut, cut, I say. It's to accomodate for all of the commercials, I guess.
Or the USA could have been wiser and just released this in 5 parts, with commercials, and not edited tons out of it. Very frustrating if you are trying to actually follow the film along and enjoy it!

As the above poster said it's on the Ovation Channel on US digital cable, and it's scheduled for 9/26/2013 at 4 p.m. Eastern.
Though called "The Devil's Mistress" and probably very, very heavily edited as the above poster says. So much so that alot of it is incomprehensible, even if you already understand the history of the era being shown.
I saw the one on Netflix. And also the one on Channel4 in the UK and the latter was in complete form, I believe.
But the Mistress version has been heavily redacted. Even the title!
Shame.
Pay attention. Sexby's arm is damaged beyond repair when they raid a church in Ireland. It's in the American version.
