I believe that Tyler Perry is becoming to black movies like Uwe Bol has become to video game movies. All you have to do to confirm this is look at each director's page and look at the scores each of their movies got from the users.
But I like toast. It's the muffins that must be stopped.
The only problem with this guy is that all his movies are hits,even though they are far worse than Uwe Boll's *beep* Boll's movies can be seen like some of the movies on MST3K.

Hits or not the rankings his movies get are around the same as many of Uwe Bol's movies.

Using IMDb ratings as your "proof" that he is as bad as Uwe Boll is really sad. We all know you can't prove an opinion is a fact. Yeah, and what about the fact that people can vote on any movie without ever watching it?
shareI completely agree. Tyler Perry's movies aren't even close to being as bad as Uwe Boll films. Perry's movies are well made and shot. Boll is neither. The only problem I have with Perry is the fact that he tends to repeat himself with each movie. But him being considered the new Uwe Boll is just plain silly to me. You want to know who the new Uwe Boll is? They're two guys and they made Date Movie, Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans. Friedberg and Seltzer!!

Ol' Uwe is untouchable. Perry's movies have their issues(many of which can be chalked up to budget such as really bad acting), but no one makes a worse movie than Boll. To put it another way. Give Perry a budget and a solid cast he could make a watchable film. Boll destroys movies with oscar winning actors and more money than most countries.
