Couldn't get into this one...
This isn't the worst adaptation Tyler Perry's made. I had to watch and re-watch the DVD. Rather, I had to start & restart it. I couldn't get into it. It is okay at best.
Vera was perfectly cast for a film version.
Brown just does not translate to film. Brown is a stage character to take up time during other characters' costume changes and or changes to set. He can't be as much of a livewire on film. Even though is wardrobe really isn't oned down it just doesn't pop.
I think Daddy's Little Girls is the only TP flick I haven't seen. I'm not looking forward to it but I think I'll watch it.
