Please Mr. Perry, stop making these terrible shows. This is valuable space where something better could be playing.

I agree he even invaded TBS, now it plays instead of something good.

Just because Tyler Perry's films are uplifting and have a moral to them doesn't make them awful. They aren't Oscar caliber movies, but they aren't meant to be. They entertain, and they make us laugh. The also give a lot of unknown African-American actors jobs. I'm Caucasian, and I never miss one of TP's movies. It's refreshing to see something funny and touching instead of a constant diet of gratuitous violence or sex onscreen, or yet another car chase. (Radio 5982 did not write this, I'm his mom! He'd never go see a TP movie. lol)

I agree with Radio5982's mom (lol) I don't think this was a bad movie. It made me laugh and I think Sofía Vergara was hilarious. There were some parts that were a little slow but it couldn't be funny through the whole movie. It had a little romantic story to it as well.

WHAT THE! sonofabitch. my mom just nearly destroyed my street cred as a film buff. at least she took the blame. i was wondering why i had a notification on a response to a Tyler Perry item. I thought i drunkenly posted a comment last night!

PS. My mom still doesn't understand how to copy and paste with control-C&V, yet she managed to access my IMDB account from her computer and leave a response. she never ceases to amaze me.

TYLER PERRY SUCKS!!!! His movies are the same thing regashed over and over again! Now we've got Madea Goes to Jail?!?!? Who keeps bankrolling this crap??? And if anyone on here wants to make some comment that I'm being racist, I'm Black and I can't stand his "work".

You see that is what I find sad and wrong, I completly agree with ansonee, I'm sorry to anyone who actually likes this show but it flat out SUCKS, an All I hear is "ya know it uhhh has a good message" yeah so does a fortune cookie. A "good message" can NOT get passed horrible acting, no comedy, crap stories, everything that makes a show watchable. And the biggest thing that I hate is that all you have to do is say "yeah I dont much care for that show that mainly contains black people" and BOOM!! Huge Racist. I swear it could be the most unfunny no plotted show but if black people were the majority of the cast and a white guy said it sucked instantly everyone looks at him differently at work, an even more sickning is that there are people out there who say its the best show ever in fear of being called a racist.

An in this case if anyone on these boards just throws around that your racist for not liking this show, you only say that because you have no real defence for a god awful show, all you have is "umm it deals with real problems, and really teaches you about african american culture" if anything THAT is the real racism on these boards instantly saying that the entire african american culture is exactly what you see on that tv show.

This was actually Tyler Perry's better movies. It had some humorous moments. Now his sitcoms are some othe worst in history.
