I mean the one ~40min in during the Tokyo flashback that had two 8 year old boys practically fighting to the death. I'm not trying to reignite some violence-in-movies debate, but isn't having actual kids fight it out like that just a little excessive? Why was there not more of an outcry over this?

Those flashback scenes were horribly done and unnecessary.

shareHow is that any more offensive than watching The Karate kid or 3 Ninjas? The scene clearly shows the seeds of the animosity between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow in their youth. Nothing we haven't seen before.

My mom would have knocked both of them out within 10 seconds after they started - plus made everyone in the monastery clean up the mess the two kids made.. She had damn good ears, plus a good left hook..
