You know it's bad when the supporting character got a better story.
Wtf did I just watch? a 99 min trailer? It sure felt like it.
The movie lasted 1 hour and 30 mins and you only stayed on the surface of the story the entire time. They didn't dig deep enough into Hercules mind and history like his struggle with being the son of Zeus or that his mother got killed, or that his brother betrayed him, or.. that his father sent him into his death, or or.. His suddenly gain of higher strength. Nether do you see any detailed scenes of his struggle as a gladiator or his resurrection. All of it just stays on the surface like it was some kind of trailer for the actual film. After i watched the movie I feel like it was my friend who told me a summary of the movie.
I think that the supporting characther "Sotiris" got a deeper story than the main character Hercules and that just tells us what kind of a movie we are dealing with.
I will give this movie 3 stars and that is only because of how well "Liam McIntyre" played "Sotiris" as I felt more passion with his character than Hercules himself.
GG Renny Harlin but I rather watch the upcoming Hercules movie by Brett Ratner. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1267297/?ref_=nv_sr_1 - Don't waste time on this one. Hope the next one well be way better.
