Scott Adkins should have been Hercules, not his human dad

Adkins was easily the best thing in the film and gave the best performance.

I think his opening scene was great. His voice had that deep bass and bluster that you expect from a warrior-king and he better embodied that brutality and badassery that you expect from a great hero. Kellan Lutz while fine absolutely paled in comparison to Adkins even though he was supposed to be the hero. Adkins infact even had a much better physique than Kellan Lutz, more suited for Hercules. And he was better in his action scenes too, though that goes without saying.

So why wasn't Adkins Hercules?

I agree Scott was the best actor in this movie.Lutz can't act and only gets by on his looks,A lot of people think Scott is just a marital artist/Stuntman but he actually does have acting chops,he might not be up there with Christian Bale or Dicaprio but Scott is a better than lots of actors out there. Scott would be perfect as Hercules I kinda wish he was playing Hercules in the upcoming movie that Stars the Rock,I am huge fan of the Rock but honestly I don't think he is that good of an actor,Scott is a way better actor. I do hope Scott gets better opportunities in the future

Edit:Scott Basically played Hercules in an ep of that Anthology series Metal Hurlant Chronicle,he did a good job

Wrong---the Rock IS a better actor, period. That's part of the reason his version of HERCULES is currently cleaning up at the box office---meanwhile this LEGEND OF HERCULES sees to have vanished without a trace. "Nuff said.

The Rock is an ok actor and ss good a playing the roles he does, The Rock has had a big fanbase since his wrestling days that is one of the reasons his movies make money,like I said he has given good performances but no Scott Adkins is the better actor

I totally agree. I think his performance was reminiscent of Gerard Butler's legendary performance as King Leonidas in 300. It had the same kind of epicness.

I actually would have preferred to watch a movie just with Adkins's King Amphitron as the lead character. He really was quite good here.

I doubt it would have made ANY difference. The movie is cancerous tumour level bad!

I agree too, Scott Adkins rocks and should have had the lead, Kellan Lutz can't act to save himself.

I disagree. I don't like scott adkins in anything he has been in. Sure he is a big guy with a few skills at martial arts. So are many other thugs all over the world. All of those others thugs are not given roles in movies. He should not.
