HUGE FLOP !!!! Kellan Lutz is not bankable.

douche face.

It only made 18 million domestically against a 70 million production budget.

It's not a question of Lutz being "bankable." He was really cast for his physical appearance; the fact that he needed almost no training to get fit for the part of Hercules. I can't think of anyone better to play this character. Kellan Lutz' name is hardly well-known, as he was very much in the background of the silly "Twilight" films. He is making a name for himself in the lower budget action genre. I've seen these action movies and I think he makes a pretty good action star. He also looks like he would be a fun guy to drink with, so give him a break.

Kellan Lutz is the missing link anthropologists have been looking for! Proof positive the neanderthals trully existed!

All joking aside, he was better in his smaller role on HBO's "Generation Kill".

Kellan Lutz has the emotional range of a plank of wood. Terrible. So obvious he was cast solely because of his size but seriously Scott Adkins is huge too and can act, why not give him the lead????

They thought they could get Twilight fans to show up by casting someone from that series in this.

The movie wasn't a flop because of Kellan Kutz. It was a flop because of the bad writing and directing.
