...it's not a good sign.
When Scott F'ing Adkins is blowing EVERYONE in the movie off the screen, it generally doesn't speak well of your movie.
That being said, i love Adkins, and his movies. But...wow, the acting (and writing, to be fair) is atrocious in this flick.
Adkins is easily the best thing about the movie. Not just the fights, but the performance as well. Granted, this isn't exactly the Royal Shakespeare company he's working with here, but still.

I wasn't very familiar with Adkins beyond The Expendables 2, where he really doesn't get a chance to act. So his performance here--and more so his presence--was a really nice surprise. I saw a thread or comment that said he should've been cast as Hercules here, and I actually agree with that.

Go watch Undefeated 2 and Undefeated 3. Adkins gets to fully show off his martial arts talents AND his acting skills. His character Yuri Boyka has a cult following.
